‘Forza Horizon 6’ Release Date
Read More on Video Games
“Forza Horizon 6," the latest game in the arcade racing Forza Horizon series, got a release date following its prior announcement late last year. As previously announced, “Forza Horizon 6” will be set in Japan, with a host of Japanese cars available to set the scene and make it feel more realistic. There will be both countryside and city locations to drive in, as well as a new base building mode.
Forza Horizon 6 will be released on the Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 19, 2026. A PS5 release will come later in 2026.
‘Fable’ Release Window
After years of development and teases, fans finally got their first look at gameplay for “Fable," the newest game in the classic Xbox series. Being developed by Playground Games – the same developer behind “Forza Horizon 6” – "Fable” is a reimagining of the series for the modern age, with more complex morality systems, a wide degree of freedom, and a lush, expansive world to explore.
“Fable” will be released for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 in Autumn 2026.
‘Kiln’ Surprise Announcement
Most Developer Directs have a surprise announcement, and this year was no different. The announcement this time was a new game from Double Fine called “Kiln," which the studio describes as an “online multiplayer pottery-party brawler." Players craft ceramic armor on a pottery wheel, then wear it into battle, with battle characteristics based on the design of the pot they create.
“Kiln” will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC in Spring 2026.
‘Beast of Reincarnation’ New Details and Release Date
Finally, the Developer Direct showed off new footage and details for “Beast of Reincarnation," a new action RPG from Pokémon developer Game Freak. The game features a unique combat system that has the human player, Emma, attacking with fast, fluid attacks, while her dog Koo offers skills that are selected from a menu while time is slowed down.
“Beast of Reincarnation” will be released on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 in Summer 2026.
