"We love the games," shared the British actor, revealing that they regularly play the "Spider-Man" video game. "The games are absolutely sensational."
While Holland apparently mastered the art of playing Insomniac's "Spider-Man," Zendaya is still struggling to harness her skills. "I'm not very good at playing video games," revealed Zendaya.
While she is still struggling to practice her skills, she revealed it is her beau's one habit that gets in her nerves.
Upon being prompted by the interviewer that she could do the Story Mode, she said, "But yeah, so I do do the Story Mode, and I get really frustrated because I want to play it all by myself. And he'll try come just like, 'Let me help you.'"
"Imma be like, 'No.'" She continued, "'I need to do this on my own. You can't help me.'" She emphasized, "You cannot help me. I cannot let you do this."
Despite her vocal protest, the star revealed that she let Holland "help" her, because that was a "really hard level."
While the couple's banter once again brought their sizzling chemistry to the fore, fans took to the social media to coment on the couple's unique dynamic.
A fan joined the fun, as they jokingly said, "I mean he knows better because he's spider-man."
Someone else noted, "Tom Holland is a backseat gamer confirmed."
Another netizen, however, pointed out, "Zendaya refusing Tom Holland's help while playing Spider-Man is somehow the most Peter and MJ thing ever 😭🕷️🎮🔥."
"Tom Holland trying to be Spider-Man both in real life and in the game," someone else simply noted.
"Tom knows some secret Spiderman techniques that only Spider man knows 😁," joked another social media user.
Nevertheless, it is not only the fans who got Zendaya's back, as they called Holland a "backseat gamer," even the game makers understood her problem and showed their unwavering support.
Soon after her admission, Insomniac Games responded, saying, “If you’re ever near Burbank, you’re always welcome to swing by the studio to see how we make ’em! We’d love to show you around!”
So, better luck next time Tom!
