Milo Ventimiglia and his pregnant wife Jarah Mariano escaped the Los Angeles wildfires unharmed, but they suffered a difficult loss as they prepare to welcome their first child.
The parents-to-be were forced to evacuate their Malibu home and watch online as the residence and all their possession left behind were destroyed by flames.

Though the This Is Us actor and the 41-year-old former Victoria's Secret model were able to take some of their belongings in the scramble to safety, the items they had just stocked in their baby's nursery, including a crib, were gone. "We've got good friends and we've got good people we're working with, and we'll make do," Ventimiglia said, focusing on the positive side of the situation. "Wife and baby and dog, most important."
Ventimiglia joins a grim list of celebrities whose homes have been destroyed in the multiple blazes currently covering the Los Angeles area, including Tina Knowles, Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody.
