Bruce Willis celebrated his 70th birthday with love from his blended family and fans — a day his wife, Emma Heming Willis, made sure to update fans about online.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Thursday, March 20, Heming Willis, 46, shared a screen recording featuring dozens upon dozens of her followers' happy birthday wishes for the Die Hard star.
"Bruce had a great day," she wrote over the clip. "YOU made it very special ✨."

The well-wishes for Willis were in response to Heming Willis' prompt on Wednesday, March 19 — Willis' actual birthday — in which she encouraged his fans to react to the question: "What would you tell him?"
"It's Bruce's birthday, and if there's one thing I know, it's that there's no greater fan than a Bruce fan. So flood him with all the love today—he will feel it, I swear he will," Heming Willis wrote via Instagram, alongside a photo of the Sixth Sense star giving two thumbs-up while riding an ATV. "You are one powerful bunch. I love how you rally for him, and I'm so grateful that he has you ✨."
Willis retired from acting in 2022 after being diagnosed with aphasia, which "impairs the expression and understanding of language," per the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. His family revealed in 2023 that the aphasia had progressed into a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (FTD), noting that "challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces."
Despite the effects of the "cruel disease," as his family called FTD in their initial statement, Willis — lovingly referred to as "BW" by family members — spent his 70th birthday celebrating with those closest to him: Heming Willis, his five daughters, and ex-wife Demi Moore. The Whole Nine Yards star shares three daughters with Moore: Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31; he and Heming Willis are the parents of daughters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10.
In addition to Heming Willis, Moore, 62, and Willis' three adult daughters all shared heartfelt tributes to the film and TV icon.
"This is my Dad," daughter Tallulah shared in her tribute to her father alongside a photo of them together. "throughout my childhood I was so frequently asked what it was like to have capital B Bruce Willis as a dad, that somehow these people thought that when they saw him jump off buildings via a 20ft screen he remained EXTRA LARGE."
"he's a person, a man, a son, a kid from Jersey who hit the mother f***ing jackpot of life by the stroke of luck he couldn't even explain," she continued. "and I love this Jersey boy, who combed my hair in baths, and always made sure I layed a towel down before eating on his bed, and is known far and wide as the Corn Cake King to our safe circle of intimates."
While she would get embarrassed "for years" when "people found out my 'full' name," today, Tallulah wrote, "im pretty damn proud to be Tallulah Belle Bruce Willis."
In addition to Willis' birthday, this week also marks another special occasion for him and Heming Willis: the couple will celebrate their 16th wedding anniversary on Friday, March 21.
