Brooklyn Beckham called out his parents in a post on Instagram this month, sparking interest about the celebrity’s financial status relative to the larger Beckham family.

The former model, who is the eldest son of England soccer star David and popstar Victoria Beckham, broke his silence on Instagram Stories on the longstanding feud between his parents and himself and his wife, Nicola Peltz.

"I have been silent for years and have made every attempt to keep these matters private," Brooklyn, age 26, said on his Instagram Stories. "Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed."

As of today, Brooklyn’s net worth is estimated at $10 million.

Why It Matters

Rumors of a feud between Brooklyn and his parents have long existed, with Brooklyn now confirming tension at his wedding turned into a larger battle between the family members.

Brooklyn invariably benefited from his family’s name and financial status in creating his own success, sparking a larger discussion on family finances, nepotism and entitlement.

What To Know

Based on Brooklyn's career and real estate history, he likely boats a net worth of around $10 million. In June 2021, Brooklyn and his wife paid $10.5 million for a property in Beverly Hills, California.

That home went on sale months later for $12 million before being sold for $9.5 million in August 2022. In June of last year, they bought a different Beverly Hills mansion for $16 million.

This week, Brooklyn accused his mother Victoria Beckham in a new Instagram post of sabotaging his 2022 wedding with Nicola Peltz.

"My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," Brooklyn said, adding that his mother "was waiting to dance with me … She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life."

"Brand Beckham comes first," the post continued. "Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo."

Brooklyn added that he does "not want to reconcile with my family."

"While it’s not publicly known what Brooklyn’s net worth is, it’s fair to say it’s in the millions, and his argument about how much control he should have over his own worth is a concept the legal system has struggled with in recent years decades," Alex Beene, a financial literacy instructor for the University of Tennessee at Martin, told Newsweek.

Beckham also hit back against allegations that his wife Peltz is pressuring him or controlling him in any way.

"I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life," Beckham wrote in the post Monday.

How Does Brooklyn Beckham Make Money?

Brooklyn has spent his career as a photographer and model, having been featured in Vogue China, Miss Vogue, Interview, Dazed Korea and more.

Today, Brooklyn is a social media content creator in the culinary space.

Nicola Peltz Net Worth

Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, has her own hefty net worth estimate. Peltz made a name for herself as an actress, starting in Transformers: Age of Extinction and Bates Motel.

She’s also the daughter of Nelson Peltz, who is a billionaire investor and worth $2 billion on his own, according to reports. Based on her own work history and investments, Peltz is thought to be worth somewhere around $50 million.

David and Victoria, meanwhile, have a likely combined net worth of $450 million.

When Did Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Get Married?

Brooklyn married Peltz in 2022 and also had a vow renewal ceremony in August 2025.

While the Beckham family attended the wedding, they were not there for the renewal.

Reports have circulated online that Victoria and Peltz had a feud as mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, which Brooklyn seemed to confirm on Monday.

"My mum cancelled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress," Brooklyn wrote.

"Weeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife, and our future children. They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since."

Brooklyn added there were additional issues his parents had with he and Peltz’ choices at their wedding.

"During the wedding planning, my mum went so far as to call me 'evil' because Nicola and I chose to include my Nanny Sandra, and Nicola's Naunni at our table, because they both didn't have their husbands," he wrote. "Both of our parents had their own tables equally adjacent to ours."

What People Are Saying

Brooklyn Beckham wrote Monday: "My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family.

Alex Beene, a financial literacy instructor for the University of Tennessee at Martin, told Newsweek: "Many legal documents pertaining to the children of celebrities are signed well before adulthood, and those same documents can be used later to enact wishes that go against their own. Ultimately, it’s more of a legal issue to be determined than a personal one."

What Happens Next

Brooklyn’s recent Instagram post alleges that his family is "performative" in their social media presence and that "inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into."

"For the first time in my life … that anxiety has disappeared," Brooklyn wrote of the time since he’s distanced himself from his family. "I wake up every morning grateful for the life I chose, and have found peace and relief."
