A new story from the John Wick universe will hit our screens in 2025, with Ana de Armas leading Ballerina as Eve, an assassin seeking revenge on the people who killed her family.

Directed by Len Wiseman, Ballerina is produced by John Wick's Chad Stahelski and features performances from Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, with Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves alongside de Armas.

In the greater picture of John Wick, Ballerina takes place during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, and Lionsgate has released an extended teaser which shows a behind-the-scenes look at bringing the film to life, featuring interviews with Stahelski, de Armas, Reddick, Wiseman, Reedus, McShane, and producer Erica Lee.

"One of the fascinating things in the franchise, to me, is the world creation," says Stahelski to open the preview, "Ballerina gives us a chance to explore that world."

The film's first trailer was released in September, and this new extended look builds on what we've already seen by showing us how the action came together, including a preview of de Armas practising the stunts, a staple of the John Wick universe.

As well as this, we've also got a look at some new stills from the film.
