Donald Trump has lashed out at Democrats, accusing them of "playing the ref" with regard to the U.S. Supreme Court.
"The Radical Left SleazeBags, which has no cards remaining in its illegal bag of tricks, is, in a very coordinated manner, PLAYING THE REF with regard to the United States Supreme Court," he wrote on Truth Social.
"They lost the Election in a landslide, and with it, have totally lost their confidence and reason. They are stone cold CRAZY! I hope the Supreme Court doesn't fall for the games they play. The people are with us in bigger numbers than ever before. They want to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"

Why It Matters
Trump's remarks came hours after the Supreme Court started hearing oral arguments on Thursday on whether lower courts have the power to stop Trump's bid to halt birthright citizenship.
In January, Trump signed an executive order aimed at ending automatic citizenship to people born to certain immigrants and visitors.
If the court rules against Trump, it will come as a blow to his policy agenda. His administration is already facing dozens of legal challenges around its immigration policies.
What To Know
Following Trump's executive order, his administration was sued by 22 states and migrant rights groups, resulting in three different federal district court judges invalidating it.
The issue is related to the Constitution's 14th Amendment, enacted after the Civil War, which states that all children born in the U.S. are automatically citizens.
The Supreme Court hearing is about whether Trump's plan can be blocked in different parts of the country, and not about the legality of birthright citizenship itself.
The court has yet to come to a decision and Thursday's hearing suggested the justices are divided.
What People Are Saying
John Eastman, senior fellow at the right-leaning Claremont Institute, which filed an amicus brief in support of the Trump administration's position, told Newsweek earlier this week: "Others have argued it will just create chaos, nobody will know who's a citizen and who's not. Most of the rest of the world doesn't have this notion that you're born here, you're automatically a citizen. You have to be somehow part of the political community, and so you can look at it what other countries do and find out it's rather simple."
Texas Democratic Representative Sylvia Garcia wrote in a post on X, formerly Twitter: "We've got a message for the Trump White House: Read the Constitution, stupid. Birthright citizenship is a Constitutional right, clearly articulated in the 14th amendment. Over the years, the Supreme Court has upheld this right. No executive order, no political stunt, and no fear-mongering can erase that. We'll fight back in the courts and in Congress, and we will win!"
What Happens Next
The Supreme Court court is expected to issue its decision on the nationwide injunctions by the end of June or early July.
Pending this ruling, Trump's executive order remains blocked and birthright citizenship continues to apply to all newborns in the U.S.
