For dog owners and DIY enthusiasts alike, the video was a charming reminder of how pets love to be part of everything—even projects that can be noisy or chaotic.
While DIY work can be stressful for pets, there are ways to make it a safe and enjoyable experience. According to home and garden website Room for Tuesday, creating a calm environment during home improvement is essential. Dogs are creatures of habit, so sudden noises, new people and unusual smells can leave them feeling unsettled.
To help them cope, it's crucial to provide a "safe zone" where they can retreat if things get too overwhelming, ideally a familiar room with their bed, favorite toys and maybe even a treat.

Ensuring that paint, nails and other sharp objects are stored out of reach is key to a pet-friendly workspace.
Delilah's little head torch is part of a growing trend among pet owners. LED headlights for dogs, originally designed for night walking, make it easier to see and be seen in low-light situations, keeping pets safe and enhancing visibility.
These lights are increasingly popular with outdoor enthusiasts who hike, camp or walk with their pets after dark. In Delilah's case, it added functionality to her DIY helper role.
TikTok users couldn't get enough of Delilah's input and flooded the comments with love.
"Why do the glasses look like they belong to him," one viewer joked.
A second user posted: "the best assistant we've ever seen."
"The sass in his eyes," a third said.
"She made sure she stayed focused after being told," wrote Erin.
"What a supportive diva," another TikTok user commented, capturing the internet's adoration for Delilah's role as a DIY sidekick.
