For one delivery driver, stepping out of his truck meant walking straight into a scene that looked more like a wildlife documentary than a workday errand.

On TikTok, user hindy007 shared a video showing a United Parcel Service (UPS) delivery driver scrambling for safety as he’s chased by several turkeys.

“I thought someone was fighting outside,” text overlaying the footage said.

“It’s just the UPS man fighting for his life from the turkeys.”

As the video starts, the delivery man is seen running towards a residence to leave a package on their steps. He then turns around and runs right towards his truck, while two turkeys are seen coming around near the truck’s door.

‘Can’t deal with this’

As the clip continues, the turkeys are seen waiting for the man near the door as he tries to shoo them away.

“I’m 40 years old, I can’t deal with this,” the delivery man is heard saying from inside his truck.

He’s then seen exiting the truck from the other side and running towards another home for a delivery. As soon as he steps out of the truck, the turkeys notice him and begin running after him once again.

After dropping off the package, he is able to evade the turkeys again and run back towards his truck for safety.

He then is heard letting out a loud “woo!’

‘Playing with him’

The TikTok comments section swelled with almost 85,000 comments amid 35 million views over six days.

“Him laughing when he made it back to the truck without getting caught by the turkeys." a fan observed.

Another commented, "Funniest part is those turkeys are not being aggressive. They're playing with him.”

A fellow viewer chipped in: "I'm dying. You can tell he's having the best and worst time all at once.”

Meanwhile, "No one would ever believe this if you hadn’t captured it," another contributor shared.

When Delivery Mishaps Go Viral

Delivery drivers have often found themselves at the center of viral moments.

Newsweek reported on a video where a woman noticed how a delivery driver left a package on her step, attempting to hide it under a tiny doormat. This was no small package though, as it was in fact a large kitchen table—so hiding it under a mat didn't exactly work.

In the video, the black and white doormat looked miniscule as it was draped over the huge cardboard box.

Newsweek also covered a TikTok video that was viewed more than 10 million times as it showed a delivery driver falling down the stairs after dropping off a parcel at a home.

Interested to see how it looked, he left a note for the homeowner: "I just fell so bad on your porch. Watch the Ring camera for a good laugh. LOL. Text me the video plz!”
