Amid a series of tweets on Sunday where President Donald Trump railed against Saturday Night Live and again took aim at deceased Sen. John McCain, CNN's Ana Cabrera questioned if anyone at the White House was actually working.

"It's striking to see what's on the president's mind today. Comedy show reruns he doesn't like or think aren't funny, lashing out at a genuine American hero. Is anyone else at the White House today addressing the actual pressing issues in the world?," Cabrera said during a segment on CNN Newsroom.

The segment began with Trump's tweets about McCain, as well as a response from Sen. Lindsey Graham to the president's words.

"Report: Christopher Steele backed up his Democrat & Crooked Hillary paid for Fake & Unverified Dossier with information he got from "send in watchers" of low ratings CNN. This is the info that got us the Witch Hunt!," Trump tweeted. "So it was indeed (just proven in court papers) "last in his class" (Annapolis) John McCain that sent the Fake Dossier to the FBI and Media hoping to have it printed BEFORE the Election. He & the Dems, working together, failed (as usual). Even the Fake News refused this garbage!"

The comments came a day after Trump tweeted criticism of McCain's opposition to repealing Obama care and the allegation that his office supplied a dossier on Trump from a British Intelligence Agent to BuzzFeed News.

"As to @SenJohnMcCain and his devotion to his country: He stepped forward to risk his life for his country, served honorably under difficult circumstances, and was one of the most consequential senators in the history of the body," South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham tweeted on Sunday. "Nothing about his service will ever be changed or diminished."

After reading Graham's tweet, Cabrera added her own thoughts, saying Graham's words were "clearly not a position held by the president who did, to his credit, go to Vietnam, although not until he was in his 70s and under Secret Service protection."

McCain served in the Vietnam war and was detained for five and a half years as a prisoner of war. However, several reports have alleged that Trump avoided serving in Vietnam by medical deferment for bone spurs in his feet.

Cabrera went on to say other Republican voices have been quiet about Trump's comments on McCain and in pressuring the president to denounce white supremacy in light of the mosque shootings in New Zealand. The news anchor then referenced a tweet made by the GOP's twitter account which used Democratic presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke's 1998 mugshot and a photoshopped leprechaun hat to urge responsible drinking on St. Patrick's Day.

After asking if anyone in the White House was "addressing the actual pressing issues in the world," Cabrera turned to White House correspondent Boris Sanchez.

"If Twitter is any indication of where the president's focus is, it is not on white nationalism or on violence directed by white supremacists or white supremacist groups," Sanchez said.
