Two clumsy women attempting to make dinner have left the internet in stitches, and one of them told Newsweek how pleased she is that her amusing attempt at aesthetic perfection is making thousands of people smile.
Tanisha Wilson (@tanisha.wilson), 26, from the Netherlands, shared a hilarious video of her and a friend trying to have an aesthetically pleasing evening, though things didn't go quite as planned. The video quickly went viral, garnering 17,800 likes and a staggering 185,900 views on TikTok.
"I for sure did not expect it to get an audience like this, but I'm happy that people found us relatable and could laugh about it instead of the always perfectly aesthetic videos," Wilson told Newsweek.

"Usually my clumsiness is not caught on video, but now it was and it made me laugh so hard I just had to share! I'm happy my clumsiness could put a smile on someone's face or make them feel less alone in this aesthetic social media world."

The footage captures a series of chaotic moments, starting with the women attempting to put a homemade pizza in the oven, only to have the tray jam.
Then, when they try to squeeze a lemon into a thin-necked jug, the liquid spills out in a messy disaster.
To top it off, while pouring what looks like a fruity cocktail, they spill the drink down the side of the glass. Despite their best efforts, the evening of "aesthetic" turned into one of hilarious mishaps.
"POV: two clumsy girls trying to be aesthetic," she wrote as the text overlaying the video.
The girls are celebrated for not embodying the so-called "clean girl" aesthetic, a trend that glorifies minimalist looks, featuring flawless skin, slicked-back hair, and fresh makeup. Alongside this faultless look is a lifestyle which values flawless, Instagram perfection.
However, this ideal can feel unattainable to many.
Instead, Tanisha and her friend embrace the messy girl aesthetic, which flips the script by embracing imperfection and celebrating authenticity.
This aesthetic encourages embracing your flaws, making a mess, and having fun in a world dominated by perfection.
Fellow clumsy girls flocked to the comments section, rallying in support of embracing the mess.
"YESSS I finally found my clumsy girl gang!!! Thought I was the only one left," one viewer wrote.
"I found my people," said another. "This could have been me," said one user.
Others even offered helpful tips. "Try holding a spoon in the glass and pouring the lemonade into the glass with the spoon, then you won't spill anything," one user, Lena, suggested.
