Citibank customers were reporting issues with the bank's website and mobile app on Thursday.
There were reports on Down Detector about the apparent issues and users were also tweeting about the issues they were experiencing with the bank. Most of the reports on Down Detector had to do with online banking, the website and mobile banking.

Some users were reporting seeing an error 404 message when they tried to login to their accounts.
Users were tweeting about the issues they were experiencing and the Ask Citi Twitter account was responding to some of them with the message, "Our site is experiencing a technical issue, and we are working to resolve it. We appreciate your patience during this time."
Citi Bank did not immediately respond to Newsweek's request for comment.
