Just days earlier, Norris celebrated his 86th birthday and shared a video on social media showing himself sparring with a trainer. In the post, he joked about aging and thanked fans for their support.

"I don’t age. I level up," he wrote. "I’m 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I’m grateful for another year, good health and the chance to keep doing what I love. Thank you all for being the best fans in the world. Your support through the years has meant more to me than you’ll ever know."

Norris, best known for his roles in 1980s blockbuster action films and the long‑running hit television series Walker, Texas Ranger, has remained physically active in recent years and frequently posts workout and training updates online.

Details on his hospitalization were first reported by TMZ and The Sun.

TMZ reported that Norris is in "good spirits."

How Long Did 'Walker, Texas Ranger' Run?

Walker, Texas Ranger, one of Norris' most recognizable roles, ran for nine seasons, from 1993 to 2001.

He was born on March 10, 1940, in Ryan, Oklahoma, and served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1962, where he began studying Tang Soo Do while stationed in South Korea—mastering a discipline that launched his extensive martial arts career.

By the late 1960s, he had won multiple national and international karate titles.

Norris entered the film industry with a small role in The Wrecking Crew in 1968. He is also known for titles like The Delta Force, Missing in Action and Silent Rage. Norris has also been outspoken for decades about his conservative political views.
