A dog has left the internet in stitches after he became enraged with an outdoor umbrella.
Serena Butterworth (@butterworth101) shared hilarious footage of her chow chow, Hui, huffing at the neighbor's new outdoor addition, which he can see looming over the garden fence. The disgruntled pup goes outside over three consecutive days to express his annoyance.
His owners even tried closing the blinds to stop the dog from getting angry, but hilarious footage, which amassed almost 195,000 views so far, shows that their efforts were futile.

Butterworth shared on TikTok: "Our neighbours put an umbrella up next to our fence. Who would've thought an umbrella could cause such an issue. Our chow chow did not like this umbrella. When upset, he huffs, and he has been non stop huffing for days now, every day he's desperate to go and check on the umbrella."
The footage shows the chow standing at the fence as he huffs at the cream umbrella. He circles the garden in annoyance at his newfound inanimate enemy.
The dog even stands at the door as he waits to be let outside, and in an attempt to distract him, they put the blinds down, but it does nothing to stop the peeved pet.
Other dog owners shared similar tales of their animals.
"My neighbours got an ornament by their front door, omg my dog hates it, took months to go from full on attack to a growl!" one TikTok user said in the comments.
Another commenter wrote: "My black chow chow gets very annoyed when the man next door is messing about with his pond filter."
It's apparently not just dogs with bizarre fixations, as a cat owner shared in the comments that theirs "freaks at any new rug, the dramatic walk round, stalking it."

Chow chows are dignified, bright, and serious-minded dogs that originate from ancient China, according to the American Kennel Club. They have a distinctive lion's mane ruff and are loyal to loved ones.
The "huffing" noise Butterworth describes is common for chows, according to a forum for the dog breed, chowchow.org. Many users described their chows making the noise, which they have dubbed "chownese."
