Most brides want to limit their responsibilities on their wedding day—but one woman decided to take on a whole other role.

A video posted to TikTok by Elena Besser (@elenabesser) has gone viral after she stepped into managerial shoes to direct her guests for her upcoming ceremony walk-out.

With an instructive tone, she told them to dance and "groove" as the couple walked down the aisle surrounded by bubbles. Besser, 31, spoke to Newsweek about her wedding and the role she took to make it perfect.

"When you're the bride, but also creative director of the vibe," she captioned her video. "My directive was to dance in the bubbles, and they did not disappoint."

"At the end of the ceremony, Xander and I are dancing, it's a bop, it's really fun, upbeat. So, we want you to dance and groove," she said in the video. "There's also going to be, instead of flowers we have tons of bubble machines, so dance in the bubbles."

Besser told Newsweek that she and her now-husband wanted the party to start "right away."

"So, instead of having a ceremony and waiting for the celebration to kick in afterwards—we felt the best way to bring everyone in together, lighten the mood and let people know they were about to party the night away was to have 'Hooked on a Feeling' by Blue Swede play over the loudspeakers," she said.

Adding to the atmosphere were bubbles—which no one actually knew about except for the couple's immediate families.

"My little sister is on the autism spectrum and loves bubbles, and that is how we initially got the idea," she said. "We thought it would be a whimsical, eye-catching, and playful way to change up the typical recessional of a wedding."

The bubbles, and dancing, went over well. In a viral follow-up video, Besser updated her followers on the ceremony exit. It seems as though the guests definitely got the directive.

'Married life is great'

After taking a front-seat to the planning—and execution of her wedding, Besser said she is enjoying reflecting on the beautiful day.

"Our favorite part of the wedding was celebrating with our friends and family. It was our opportunity to show love to our loved ones and we are really proud of how it turned out and thankful for the support we had from our friends and family along the way," she said.

And, now that the dust has settled, Besser is enjoying time with her husband—although life doesn't look too different than it did before.

"Married life is great," she said. "It is the same! We have been together for 12 years. We've grown up together and we're best friends. We're having a blast building our life together."
