Former president Bill Clinton and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton's deposition videos have been released.

The pair testified behind closed doors before the House Oversight Committee in two separate depositions last week over their ties to Epstein, the late convicted sex offender.

Videos of the depositions were released by the House Oversight Committee on Monday.

Their testimony came amid continued scrutiny of high-profile figures named in files associated with the disgraced financier after more than 3 million pages of documents related to Epstein were released by the Justice Department, following President Donald Trump's signing of the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November 2025.

Neither Clinton has been accused of any wrongdoing in connection to Epstein and appearing in the files is not an indication of wrongdoing.

Below, Newsweek has rounded up six of the biggest moments from the depositions.

1. Hillary Clinton Angrily Storms Out of Epstein Deposition

Hillary Clinton nearly stormed out after learning Colorado Republican Lauren Boebert leaked photos from her deposition.

"I'm done with this. If you guys are doing that, I am done. You can hold me in contempt from now until the cows come home. This is just typical behavior," Clinton said.

A voice could be heard in the background saying, "It was before the hearing was started." To that, Clinton said, "It doesn't matter. We all are abiding by the same rules."

2. Hillary Clinton Says Trump Should be Deposed

In one part of her deposition, Hillary Clinton was asked whether Trump should be deposed by the committee. "Absolutely," she said.

Clinton referenced a civil action for which, in May 2023, Trump was found liable for sexually abusing and defaming writer E. Jean Carroll. Trump denies wrongdoing and in November petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to review the verdict.

Clinton also referenced Trump's criminal convictions, having been found guilty in May 2024 of 34 charges in a scheme to illegally influence the 2016 election through a hush money payment to a porn actor, Stormy Daniels, who said the two had sex. Trump has consistently denied having a sexual encounter with her.

"Given what's in the files and given past and prior conduct he would be on my witness list," she said

3. Bill Clinton Explains Hot Tub Photo

The former president was asked about photos of himself in the Epstein files, including a picture of him in a hot tub. He said the photo was taken in Brunei as part of a trip talking about HIV and AIDs, which he had referred to earlier in the hearing.

"I don't think there was anyone in the hot tub," Clinton said, adding, "I don't know who that is," when asked who the young woman was in the photo.

4. Bill Clinton Says Trump and Epstein Fell Out Over Real Estate Deal

Bill Clinton said he played golf with Trump in New York and Trump told him that he fell out with Epstein over a real estate deal.

"You know we had some great times together over the years, but we fell out," Trump reportedly told Clinton. "All because of a real estate deal."

"And he said that ‘I’m sorry it happened.’ That’s all,” Clinton said about Trump.

Clinton said the conversation took place "20-something years ago," but did not specify exactly when.

Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection to Epstein, saying their friendship ended in the early 2000s.

When reached by Newsweek previously*,* the White House pointed to recent remarks from press secretary Karoline Leavitt.

“The President has always remained consistent in that he kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club at Mar-a-Lago because, frankly, Jeffrey Epstein was a creep,” she said.

5. Bill Clinton Responds to Epstein's Suicide

Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail in August 2019 while awaiting sex trafficking charges.

Clinton was asked if he believed Epstein killed himself or was suicidal. "I don't know I only know what the medical finding was," he replied.

"I think maybe he finally got caught," he continued. "I don't know. I've accepted it in my own mind. I don't know what happened."

6. Hillary Clinton and Nancy Mace Clash

Hillary Clinton and South Carolina Republican Nancy Mace clashed during the hearing when discussing commerce secretary Howard Lutnick and a claim Hillary Clinton tried to get money from Epstein, which Hillary Clinton denied. "You asked the question, I'm going to answer your question," Clinton shouted amid an interruption from Mace.

"I have met with Epstein survivors I'm a survivor myself," Mace said
