Azealia Banks has been at the center of some of the craziest news stories. In 2015, the rapper and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey apparently had a special working agreement that involved her protecting the businessman from the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

In a feature published by Vanity Fair's Nick Bilton on December 14, the journalist wrote an extensive piece on a "eureka" moment Dorsey had while at a 10-day retreat in Vipassana, which was to show up for work more infrequently. However, Bilton left an interesting tidbit in his story between parentheses. "Once, a source who worked with him told me Dorsey had sent a rapper his beard shavings to make him an amulet that would protect him from evildoers," he wrote.

Bilton didn't mention the rapper in question's name, but it could be Banks. In March 2015, Banks tweeted about Dorsey's cash app, Square, with a link that redirected to her profile on it. "Guys! I just got a cashtag! It's the new way to send & receive money! You get $5 to sign up," she tweeted, according to 2016 report from Stereogum. However, Re/code reported in 2016 how Banks alleged in a series of pulled tweets that Dorsey was supposed to promote her mixtape Slay-Z. Dorey failed to follow through. The 27-year-old "Anna Wintour" artist later appeared to address her business arrangement with Dorsey in multiple since-deleted tweets in April 2016.

As a part of Banks's end of the bargain, she was also required to create an amulet for him out of his own beard hair to shield him from ISIS. Dorsey, in February 2016, was targeted by ISIS alongside Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg after the terrorist group released a video via Telegram, called "Flames of the Supporters." The video threatened the two businessmen because their respective companies were pulling accounts associated with terrorist organizations.

Since Dorsey seemingly failed to promote Slay-Z, Banks suggested she may "hex" him instead since she still had his beard clippings.

"Jack Dorsey asked me to tweet about his cash app and in exchange, he was supposed to tweet about my mixtape. He never did," she tweeted, according to Re/code. "He also sent me his hair in an envelope because I was supposed to make him an amulet for protection. I'm bout to hex this n***a. I have 3 Strands of a billionaire's hair. I should steal his luck."

"Look at how hard I worked to keep Dorsey Safe! Lots of care and energy went into this !!!!! HE DID. I'm searching for the envelope!! I'm a real witch with real clients, ppl PAY me for my services. He owes," she added.

Banks never disclosed whether she ultimately created an amulet with Dorsey's beard shavings or tried to hex him, but it's safe to say that this is one wild tale, if true.
