The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced recalls of two products sold on Amazon due to serious safety risks to children, including tip‑over hazards and the danger of ingesting high‑powered magnets.

According to the CPSC notices, the recalls involve a fabric storage dresser marketed under the LIVEHOM brand and a popular tabletop magnet chess game sold by Stoney Games.

While no injuries have been reported in connection with either product, regulators are urging consumers to act immediately to prevent potential harm.

LIVEHOM Dressers Pose Tip‑Over and Entrapment Risks

One CPSC recall announcement covers LIVEHOM 11‑drawer fabric dressers sold on Amazon between December 2025 and January 2026 for about $110.

Approximately 370 dressers—which were sold by Simplehome—have been recalled because they are unstable when not anchored to a wall, creating a risk that they could tip over and trap or seriously injure a child.

The products also violate mandatory federal safety standards for clothing storage units under the STURDY Act, which was enacted to reduce fatal dresser tip‑overs involving children.

The recalled dressers are made of fabric and were sold in multiple colors, including black, white, pink, rustic brown, and charcoal black.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the dressers if they are not secured and to place them in an area inaccessible to children.

Customers can contact Simplehome for a full refund after marking the product “RECALL” and submitting photographic proof, after which the dresser should be disposed of, the CPSC said.

Magnet Chess Games Recalled Over Ingestion Hazards

The CPSC also announced that Stoney Games has also recalled approximately 151,600 Kluster Fun Tabletop Magnet Chess Games due to the presence of small, loose, high‑powered magnets that can be extremely dangerous if swallowed by children.

The games were sold nationwide at independent game stores and online through platforms including Amazon and the company’s own website between October 2018 and September 2025, and are priced between $15 and $20.

The magnets violate federal toy safety standards because they fit within CPSC’s small‑parts testing cylinder and can be easily ingested.

The CPSC warns that when high‑powered magnets are swallowed, they can attract one another inside the digestive system, potentially causing intestinal perforations, twisting, blockages, blood poisoning, and even death.

Consumers are urged to stop using the magnet games immediately, keep them away from children, and contact Stoney Games to receive replacement magnets that do not pose a small‑parts hazard.

What Consumers Should Do

The CPSC advises consumers to regularly check recall notices and ensure recalled products are removed from homes, particularly those with children.
